My Current “In-Between” Wishlist

What do you call the time between Winter and Spring?

I call it a tease.

Just when a few sunny days trick you into thinking the end is near, you wake up to the cold and rain.

Since I start thinking about my Fall/Winter wardrobe at the end of July, I’m pretty much done looking at sweaters and boots after January. But if you’re like me, and are too impatient to buy something you can’t immediately wear, it’s too early to skip straight to Spring.

My current wishlist is a mixture of both. Here’s what’s on my radar right now:

These Sam Edelman Hazel Pumps have a stiletto heel and pointed toe, making them both sexy and classic at the same time. But the best part is their swoon-worthy fuschia color, which would immediately upgrade a basic T-shirt and jeans outfit.

This Pure Silk Headband is the perfect way to try out the turban headband trend. Because it’s made with slipsilk™-covered silk, it’ll protect the hair from damage while holding it in place. And the best part – no creases when you take it off.

A little too late for Valentine’s Day, but I’m enamored with these Sachin & Babi Crystal Heart Hoop Earrings. Their small size and delicate design give them a romantic, girly feel, and will go with anything in your closet, no matter the season.

The sleek silhouette could easily be taken from day (with tights and boots) to night (with high heels or strapped sandals). I love the olive green color of this Citizens of Humanity Marta Jumpsuit. The button and pocket accents add interest, and the elasticized waist make it super flattering. A perfect transition piece – add boots and a fur bomber for colder days, or simple sandals for a warmer one. A belt this one or this one would elevate the outfit even more.

There’s no better antidote to a dull day than a bright blush, and this INC.REDIBLE hot rose colored one is just that. It boasts a lit-from-within glow that will seamlessly melt into the skin. And who wouldn’t love the name – First Time For Everything,

I’m usually a skinny jean type of girl, but these 3.1 Phillip Lim Straight Jeans caught my eye for their cool and casual vibe. But what makes them extra special is the exposed two-way side zip. Paired with a simple long sleeve tee or airy sweater, it’s the perfect outfit for this “in between” time of year.

It’s an interesting time of year, one that Charles Dickens describes best, “It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”

But the addition of any of these items will surely help bridge the gap between the seasons. Can’t wait until they are all out of my cart and into my closet:).
